It's Persephone, the greek goddess who got kidnapped by Hades - ruler of the Underworld - while she was picking flowers.
When I saw the ref. pic it made me think of her so I decided to do this piece. I always have wondered why the images of Greek myths, gods and godesses are always blonde and not... Greek! So I wanted her to look more Greek like and give her dark pretty hair. But now she looks asian. Haha, anyway, enjoy this piece, I hope you guys like it  |

I love the moon-lit effect over everything, and the jump of colour as provided by the flowers. Also really like how... what seems like her clothing, seems to mirror the velvety texture in the petals of the flowers in the foreground.
